Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making processes.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis, develop prototypes, and forecast performance using tools such as SQL and Python.

Define key performance metrics aligned with the company's objectives and strategic vision.

Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency, revenue generation, client and customer experience, and overall business operations.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by proactively suggesting and implementing innovative strategies and solutions.

In The First Week, Expect To

Familiarize yourself with Nölck Red's business operations, values, and goals.

Shadow key team members to gain insights into the company's core operations.

Understand the existing data sources and begin to acquaint yourself with the company's data infrastructure.

In The First Month, Expect To

Gain a fundamental understanding of the Marketing function and its impact on the company's overall performance.

Assess the current state of performance metrics and reporting mechanisms, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Provide initial support to the marketing team by delivering relevant insights and reports for regular leadership meetings.

In The First Three Months, Expect To

Develop a comprehensive understanding of critical business processes and their impact on performance.

Standardize and align key metrics with the company's objectives and key results (OKRs).

Identify new opportunities for continuous performance enhancement and optimization.

In The First Six Months, Expect To

Collaborate with the team to solve significant business challenges and drive key performance indicators.

Establish a standardized approach to metric definitions across the organization.

Conduct detailed root cause analyses to uncover crucial drivers of performance.

In The First Year, Expect To

Play a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives, setting ambitious goals, and monitoring performance indicators.

Develop expertise in business process analysis and data management, contributing to the establishment of a robust business analytics function within the company.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analytics, data science, or business intelligence.

Strong preference for experience in supporting or working with Marketing teams.

Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with R, Python, or similar tools is advantageous.

Experience with data analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.

Ability to communicate complex issues effectively and challenge assumptions constructively.

Strong analytical skills, with a background in math, statistics, or a related field; advanced degrees or an MBA are a plus.
